DUES & FEES: If you attend a class as a “Drop In Student” then you pay a $15 “MAT FEE” at the start of that particular class. When you decide to become a “DOJO MEMBER” you start paying monthly dues instead of '“mat fees”. As a MEMBER your DUES are paid at the start of every month ($60 for Adults 18+ and $45 for Youth & Teens) regardless of how often you want to train - meaning your monthly dues are expected when on vacation or are otherwise absent. Becoming a “Member” is a declarative action. You are joining the Aikido of Konocti community in support of the dojo and in support of other students through your ongoing study and practice of Aiki principles.
If you have financial difficulty then talk with Sensei about your situation. Solutions can be worked out. Continue training.
